Just because they call it a condo doesn’t mean it’s a good investment.
I bought into a condo project that used to be an apartment complex. Same building new name.
But here’s the problem: I was competing with 400 other units, all renting out similar spaces with pricing all over the place.
Some were renovated. Some weren’t. Some owners cut deals I didn’t even know about.
That made it nearly impossible to keep rent consistent or fill vacancies reliably.
Lesson learned: don’t confuse ownership with opportunity. Where you buy matters as much as what you buy.
