My wife and I were blessed with one son, Josh, born in 1999. From the moment I first held him, my life changed in ways I could never have imagined. I was present from the very beginning—changing diapers whenever I was home, guiding without raising my voice, and learning that patience, respect, and consistency build far stronger foundations than force ever could. Our bond has been deep, natural, and enduring.
A Father's Pride
Josh grew into an exceptional young man. He was a dedicated student, graduating in the top 3% of his high school class, and went on to attend UCLA, where he earned a degree in Computer Science, graduating cum laude in 2021. While I hoped one day he might join me in real estate—having spent decades as an appraiser, investor, and broker—he thoughtfully chose his own path, pursuing a career as a software engineer. Today, at 26, he works at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena.
